NNDC Commissions Multi-Million Naira Mall

Kaduna, capital of the defunct Northern region of Nigeria was on Thursday 12 Sept. 2019 reawakened in the area of commerce following the commissioning of a Multi-million Naira Mall, built by the New Nigerian Development Company, NNDC.

Located along Muhammadu Buhari Way in the cosmopolitan city, the three storey Mall was commissioned by the Chairman, Northern Governors Forum and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong accompanied by his counterparts from the joint owner States of the conglomerate, NNDC.

Lalong who expressed delight at the venture said it would tackle the underdevelopment bedevilling the region and better the lives of the people.

He commended the board and management of the company for the Initiative.

The host Governor, Mallam Nasir El-rufa’i who was represented by his Deputy, Hadiza Balarabe Sabuwa said the Mall was in tune with the State Government Urban renewal programme and gave the company a pat on the back.

Earlier, the Chairman, Board of Directors of the company, Mallam Tanimu Yakubu, assured the owner States that with the diversification programme, the future of NNDC remains very promising.

He said the company remains resolute and focused on attaining the objectives for which it was set up.

Mallam Yakubu then thanked the untiring support and encouragement of the Northern State Governors Forum to the company.

The Mall situated on a large acres of land with car parks, has a 24 hour power supply through  a stand- by Generating plant.
