Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Kaduna State, Sadiq Mamman Lagos has condoled Governor Uba Sani and Emir of Zazzau Ambassador Nuhu Bamalli over the collapse of Zaria Jummat Mosque in which scores of worshippers lost their lives.
In a press statement, Sadiq Mamman Lagos also expressed sympathy to families of the deceased and prayed that God will grant the casualties rest in Aljannàtul Firdausi and wished the wounded speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, the commissioner in addition condemned the killing of two individuals and abduction of others at Kofar Gayan Zaria during an attack by suspected bandits on Saturday night .
While expressing Sadness on the sporadic attacks he called on security agents to beef up security to safeguard the lives and property of citizens.
While sympathising with families of the victims, Mamman Lagos urged security agents to fish out and prosecute the culprits to serve as deterrence to other criminals in the society.
