Kano State Government Commends Biz Mobile For Training 200 Women On E-Commerce Agency Banking

in his usual effort in bringing back the lost glory of the north in terms of business and technology in order to ensure improvement in the lives of youth and women in Kano State, has organised a two days e-commerce and agency banking training workshop for 200 women across the 44 local governments areas of the state.
The two days awareness program which is aimed at creating awareness on internet business and banking was giving the theme ‘E- commerce Agency Banking And Exhibition’s.
No fewer than 200 women from all the 44 local government areas of the state benefitted from the program where they were exposed to E – business in its simplest form.
The program which was held at tourism camp in kano has in attendance top kano state government officials, traditional rulers, bank representatives, representatives from major companies and the Director of Peper Soff company Mr. Tony Eze, who came from Lagos State.
In his speech, the chairman of Bizi Mobile, Alhaji Dr. Aminu Aminu Bizi stated his reason for organising the two days program, ” the aim of organising such program is to teach the women of kano state how to do business from home, as it is technology has bright to is various ways one can engage in business through the internet which is referred to E- commerce. 
Alhaji Aminu further stated, “our northern women are very intelligent especially when it comes to business,but their major problem is marketing strategy. This is the reason we decided to hold the two day awareness program in order to enlighten them on various marketing strategy. This will go a long way.”
You will notice that these women have the items to sell but how to sell them and where to sell them is the problem, except they advertise them to their family, neighbors and friends. Hence, our effort in organising the program. He explained. Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje appreciated the effort of Bizi Mobile especially in organising the two days awareness program.
Representing the Kano State governor, the Commissioner of Commerce of Trade and Industry, Barrister Ibrahim Muhammad Umar said if other people will come and invest in other form of technology, then Kano State will be successful in businesses and youths and women will be more involved.
“We will continue to partner with Bizi Mobile company, as doing so will create job for our youths and women, especially on modern business, investment and technology.”

While congratulating the beneficiaries, Barrister Ibrahim also called on them to apply the knowledge they have acquired.
One of the royal fathers who is the sarkin shanun Kano, Dr. Shehu Muhammad ‘Dankade appreciated the effort of Bizi mobile, saying their effort will go a long way as it will boost kano state economy and Nigeria as a whole.
In her remarks, the Commissioner for Women and Social Development, Kano State Dr. Zahara’u Muhammad Umar who was ably represented by the Director at the ministry, Hajiya Bilkisu Shafi’u Jibril said it is now time for women to wake up from their slumber and go into business, stating the readiness of her office in partnering with the company in ensuring the lives of women in kano state is improved.
Finally, Bizi Mobile Company honored some people who they said played vital roles in their lives, they include commissioner for commerce trade and industry Barrister Ibrahim Umar, Commissioner for women affairs kano state, Dr. Zahra’u Muhammad Umar, Sarkin Shanun Kano, Dr. Shehu Muhammad ‘Dankade, matawallen Kazaure, Bashir Adamu Jumbo, and Kaduna State Leadership Reporter, Ibrahim Ibrahim, Nasir Salisu Zango of Freedom Radio.
