Huzaifa Foundation Foots Medical Bills, Cost Of Surgeries, Doles Cash To Patients

Huzaifa Usman has shared the sum of 10,000 Naira each to 200 patients in Kawo General Hospital, Kaduna to alleviate the cost of purchasing drugs.

Huzaifa is a son of Hon. Usman Ibrahim, a Chieftain of APC in Kaduna State, popularly known as Sardaunan Badarawa.

In addition to the cash gift, the politician’s son, who is Founder and Chairman of Huzaifa Foundation also covered the cost of surgeries and medical commitments of other patients who could not afford to settle their bills.

While addressing newsmen in the premises of hospital amidst cheers from beneficiaries, Engr. Huzaifa decried difficulties associated with accessing affordable and quality medical services, especially amongst low-income earners.

“I had to intervene in my own little way to alleviate the hardship of footing medical bills faced by majority of our people.

“This is a routine philanthropic gesture in a series of other several community outreach activities I have been carrying out to provide succour to the vulnerable in our society.

“The little we give to the needy might make positive impact and go a long way in putting smiles on the faces of several households,”he stated.

Huzaifa, while commending his father as the source of his philanthropic aspiration, urged well-meaning Nigerians, individual and corporate entities to extend the hands of generosity to the needy, saying it would cushion the effects of the hard times experienced across the country.

Aisha Musa, a beneficiary said she couldn’t afford three thousand naira as cost of drugs for her sick baby suffering from typhoid and malaria but was fortunate to be selected among the 10,000 naira beneficiaries.

Baba Halliru, also a beneficiary whose medical bills of over 50,000 naira was cleared by Huzaifa Foundation expressed joy, praying for their benefactor to live long and continue the kindness of assisting the masses.
