Fight Against Drugs Abuse: Catholic Media Practitioners Set To Partners NDLEA, KADBUSA To Curtail Menace

Following protracted challenges posed by Drugs and Substance Abuse, the Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (CAMPAN) Kaduna State Chapter is set to hold a seminar on War Against Drugs Abuse.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary Comrade Nicholas Dekera and Miss Mabel Ojibah respectively says, the Association is partnering National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Kaduna State Bureau for Substance Abuse Prevention (KADBUSA) and Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Kaduna to engage hundreds of Youths from all three Senatorial Districts of Kaduna State on dangers of drug and substance Abuse. The event according to CAMPAN is scheduled for Saturday 21st August, 2021 at the Social Center by Independence way Kaduna.
“Effects of drugs and substance abuse have over the years weaken creativity, productivity and worsened Nigeria’s security quagmire amidst poor morals.”It Stated.
It called on religious leaders and politicians in the state to make it a point of duty campaigning against  drugs and substance abuse stressing that drugs free life remains sacrosanct in nation building.
