As Nigerian Muslims join the rest of the world to celebrate the Eid el-Kabir festivities, Hon Usman Bawa ABG has urged Kaduna and the entire Nigerian Muslims faithful to emulate the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (Peace BE Upon Him).
ABG, who is in Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj, said the teachings of Prophet Muhammad should also be taking seriously and replicated by all Muslims faithful.
He enjoined the faithful to use the period to offer prayers for peace, unity, prosperity, and rapid development in the country.
According to him, “Eid_el_Kabir is an occasion to celebrate the love of God and to rekindle our faith in Almighty Allah”.
He also called on the good people of Kaduna State to eschew bitterness and ill-feelings towards one another as it is better to stand United.
“We must continue to strengthen the spirit of oneness, regardless of religious, ethnic, regional, and political diversities, for that is the only way to build a greater Country,” he said.
He used the Sallah period to call on all Muslims to love each other and also help the less privileged among them as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad.
