A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Usman Ibrahim (Sardaunan Badarawa) has urged the good people of Kaduna State to continue to pray for the security, peace and prosperity of the state and the nation.
In an Eid-el-Fitr goodwill message to Muslims, in Kaduna, Hon. Ibrahim said:”Having had the period for reflection, re-commitment and prayer for our wellbeing as a people, it is my hope that beyond this period, we will continue to pray for the security, peace and prosperity of our dear Kaduna State.”
He noted that Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection, improvement, sacrifice and increased devotion and worship.
“We implore the Muslim Ummah to follow and apply the teachings of Islam in our relationship with our neighbours, Muslims and non-Muslims.
“We should remember and cater for the less-privileged in our midst, stay humble and abstain from all bad deeds.
He congratulated Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
”I congratulate all the Muslim faithful of Kaduna State and Nigeria as a whole on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast.
”It is my prayer that our acts will be accepted”, Hon Ibrahim added.
Sardaunan Badarawa said there was the need for unity and peaceful coexistence in Kaduna to enable Governor Nasir el-Rufai deliver more dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
”Once again, I felicitate with you all and wish you Happy Eid-el-Fitr celebration,” he said.
