Member representing Zangon Kataf/Jaba federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Barrister Sunday Marshall Katung has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to use the Sallah to unite Nigerians irrespective of their status.
This was even as the lawmaker under the umbrella of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), appealed for unconditional love among Nigerians themselves in order to move the country really forward.
Katung in a statement he personally signed, urged Nigerians to intensify prayers for the unity, peace and progress of the country.
“Winning the war on insecurity should be our collective responsibility as citizens of one Nation,” he added.
He said, “I rejoiced with the Muslim Umma for the successful completion of the Ramadan period signaling the end of a month long fasting.
“I wish to use this occasion of Sallah to call on President Muhammadu Buhari, to lead Nigerians with justice and equity.
“He must treat all Nigerians equal irrespective of where they come from or the religion they profess. This is the only way to bring back Nigeria to the path of progress and unity.”
He then appealed to Mr. President to rekindle the hope of Nigerians through Job creation and ensuring Justice for all irrespective of tribe and religious beliefs.
