The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Moro, congratulates Nigerians and other Christian faithful around the world as they mark this year’s Christmas, which is the commemoration of the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Senator calls on all Christians in the country to see the season as a time to show love and reach out to people.
He urges them to use the opportunity to extend love and care to those in need, especially the less-privileged and the vulnerable.
Senator Moro particularly enjoins Christians not to allow the celebration make them forget the reason for the season.
He wants us all to imbibe the spirit of true love and sacrifice for one another as Christmas is a time to show love and care to our family, friends, loved ones and even those we see as foes.
As we celebrate the memorial of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, let’s make out time to reciprocate God’s love by caring for the needy in the spirit of love.
He wishes everyone Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance.
