APC Lere Chairmanship Candidate Casts Vote Amidst Mammoth Crowd

All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Lere Local Government Chairmanship contest Hon Jafaru Ahmadu has cast his vote amidst cheers from supporters who came out in large number to vote.

Hon Ahmadu voted in his polling unit located in Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after casting his vote, the Local Government chairmanship hopeful expressed delight over the large voter turnout, describing the development as positive and a testimony of people’s faith in representative democracy.

He commended Governor Uba Sani for seamlessly organizing a fair, credible and hitch-free exercise that he hinted would be acceptable to majority of citizens.

The grassroots politician urged electorate and supporters of candidates to be orderly and peaceful during and after the election he stressed would be a reflection of the will of people.

He called for patience from Nigerians, saying the country had no better alternative than the ruling APC which he stated would take the country to greater heights to the admiration of all.

“We have no other country than nigerian and we must remain here to salvage it despite obvious difficulties which will surely be a thing of the past.

“We have potentials human and material which we must utilize and develop for our people as we have seen in the ruling party at state and federal level.

“I am optimistic in a better and brighter Nigeria with prosperous future for upcoming generation, ” he added.
