…says Nigeria needs a humane president
Director General of the Atiku Care Foundation (ACF), Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas on Sunday, met with Sardaunan Kano, His Excellency’, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau.
During the meeting, the former Governor of Kano State, Malam Shekarau praised ACF for its humanitarian interventions, carried out all over the country.
He said as the 2023 election is around the corner, ACF should intensify efforts towards mobilizing electorate all over Nigeria to support the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Alhaji Atiku ABUBAKAR and his running mate, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
Earlier in his remarks, ACF DG, told the former Kano State Governor that he led a delegation of Kano State Chapter of the Atiku Care Foundation to His Excellency, on a familiarisation visit.
“Atiku Care Foundation has been involved in humanitarian features across Nigeria since it was founded. It is operating based on the ideals of its Grand Patron, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who is a core philanthropist that is always pained seeing people go through challenges that can be solved,” he said.
Ambassador Abbas further said that ahead the 2023 elections, ACF is one of the groups that is committed to mobilising electorate in ensuring the actualisation of an Atiku Presidency.
He therefore, commended Malam Ibrahim Shekarau for the role he is playing in ensuring PDP remains united not only in Kano, but the entire country.
The ACF DG was accompanied on the visit by Hon. Hamza Nasarawa Chief of Staff to the DG ACF, Comrade Kabiru Kwalli Kano State Director ACF, Hon Mustapha Abdulsamad the Katsina State Director and other local government coordinators.
