Two men smuggling marijuana from Las Vegas to Montana got so insane after crossing the Idaho border that they called the police on themselves.
Leland Ayala-Doliente, 22, and Holland Sward, 23, called 911 after pulling over because they thought the cars around them were all unmarked police vehicles.
In the dispatch call, released by East Idaho News, Ayala-Doliente introduces himself and Sward as “the two dumbasses that got caught trying to bring some stuff through your border”. They then say that the cops are driving around them “like jack wagons” and that they’d just like “to end it”.
There were no police around them while they were making the call, local Police confirmed.
When the dispatcher asked if the two men had any weapons on them, Ayala-Doliente responded that all they had was “just a bunch of snacks and stuff.” The dispatcher then tells them that a marked car is on the way and Ayala-Doliente thanks him.
When two police officers did arrive, they found Ayala-Doliente and Sward with their hands behind their heads and the marijuana on the side of the road for the police to see. Investigators found 20lbs of marijuana and $567 (£400) cash in the car.
Sward has now been sentenced to 30 days in prison and five years probation. Ayala-Doliente received an increased sentence of one and a half to eight years in prison after he tested positive for marijuana, cocaine and oxycodone on his sentencing day.
