As all political parties prepares to commence campaign in full force, the
People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), Candidate Mr Lawal Adamu popularly known as “Mr. LA” representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District has officially flagged off his campaign programme at his campaign office, Kaduna .
The event witnessed by large crowd of supporters, stakeholders and key PDP politicians from across the State, who stormed the venue chanting ” Kaduna Central Sai Mr. LA” .
Among dignitaries present at the event are the PDP governorship candidate for the State ,Hon . Mohammed Isa Ashiru, PDP state Chairman , Mr.Felix Hassan Hyet , For Kaduna North Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Shehu Giant and several others .
Addressing his supporters during the flag off ,Mr. LA promised that he would attract huge , viable cum beneficial projects to Central Senatorial district in particularly and to the state in general.
He also disclosed that he and his team has mapped out strategic areas such as youths development, women empowerment , mechanized agriculture, sports which would feature prominently in his project as senator .
He equally promised to work out modalities to bring down the high rate of kidnapping , robbery and other forms of vices by generating employment opportunities for the youth in his zone .
As for maternal and children mortality rate , the PDP Senatorial Candidate unveiled his plan to bring down the high infant and maternal mortality rate by making sure more primary health centres are built and ensuring that pregnant women , children and the aged have access to free drugs .
The PDP Governorship candidate of the State , Hon Ashiru who lauded the vision of Mr. LA ,urged the people of the zone to turn out enmasse and vote Lawal Adamu as the next senator.
Adding that the PDP Kaduna and indeed the nation is set to form the next administration and bring succour to the land .
Ashiru said that, the people of Kaduna Senatorial Zone are lucky to have Mr .LA as their candidate, urged them to come in large number to vote him and other PDP candidates across the state.
